The Icelandic music awards will be presented on march 8th 2011 for the year 2010. We are proud to announce that 2 of our releases from last year got nominated! Agent Fresco are nominated for performer of the year, pop/rock album of the year and voice of the year. Pollapönk are nominated for lyric of the year and single of the year (113 vælubíllinn).

Of Monsters and Men sign with Record Records
Of Monsters and Men have signed with Record Records for the release of their debut album in Iceland. They head for the studio in March to record the album with the engineer and producer Aron Þór Arnarsson.

Our lovely Lára has released her first video from her album “Surprise”, released in october 2009 on Record Records. The video is for the fourth single from the album, “I wanna be”.

Lára to support Amy MacDonald
Our lovely singer/songwriter Lára will be heading to the UK to support Amy MacDonald on a private Q magazine gig this summer. A small tour will be planned around the dates so stay tuned for more information.
Lára will be playing a gig in Reykjavik on tuesday where she will premiere the video for her latest single, I wanna be, the video was directed by Henry Bateman.
